1. When customizing sliding windows, pay attention to its sealing shortcomings

But we need to realize that ordinary sliding windows are not as good as casement windows in terms of sound insulation and sealing and heat preservation.

Therefore, when choosing a sliding window, we need to pay attention to whether the strip of the product fits well: if it is too short, there will be gaps, and it is equivalent to not wearing it; if it is too long, it will affect daily sliding.

(2) When customizing sliding windows, the sealing of the entire window should pay attention to the following points: ① Whether the gap in the groove of the sliding window track has been treated for air leakage (such as a windproof block); ② Check whether there is sealing treatment between the window frames (whether it is an embedded design); ③ Whether the contact and overlapping positions between the window sashes and the window sashes and the track have been treated for windproof.

The joints around the window frame and the wall should be well sealed (the gap should be filled with foaming agent, and then sealant should be applied on the outside to seal the gap). In addition, various visible gaps during the installation of doors and windows should also be given enough attention, such as the amount of foaming agent applied by the installer when positioning the doors and windows. After the positioning of the doors and windows is completed, the remaining gaps should be filled in time.
